About Rakhi Village

This  is an old story about my village. once upon the time this village was called as lakhi because this whole village was able to produce lakhs of kgs (lakh man) wheats from there fields. But after that something happen so that the land has converted into barren land and from that point time , The villager are not  able to get that much of wheat from their fields. So we can say that it converted into Rakh ( Ash ) and from that time onword this village is called as Rakhi.


Rakhi is a Village in Siwana Tehsil in Barmer District of Rajasthan State, India. It belongs to Jodhpur Division . It is located 142 KM towards East from District head quarters Barmer. 20 KM from Siwana. 409 KM from State capital Jaipur
